LUXEMBOURG (SENIOR) LEGAL ADVISOR (M/F)
THE JOB:
DO Recruitment Advisors is delighted to represent its client, an international management company, in its search for a Luxembourg Senior Legal Advisor.
Within the Luxembourg Legal department, the Senior Legal counsel will be dealing with legal and corporate affairs issues facing the Company in relation to the services it offers and the managed funds.
- Preparation of the offering and statutory documentation of managed UCITS/UCI products.
- Drafting and negotiating various agreements (including AIFM and investment agreements, distribution agreements, depositary agreements, administration agreements, ISDA, etc.).
- Prepare various corporate legal documentation and organize corporate bodies' meetings.
- Advise on a variety of legal issues across the business, including identifying as early as possible potential legal, regulatory, business or financial risks and proposing compliant and practical solutions to mitigate such risks.
- Develop and regularly update standard contracts and contractual clauses.
- Research and anticipate legal issues that could impact the Company's activities, give proactive advice to all Group stakeholders.
- Actively participate in corporate and business development projects.
- Liaising with external legal advisers and regulatory authorities.
THE CANDIDATE PROFILE:
- Master's degree in law, preferably in banking and financial law.
- At least 45 years' experience in asset management and funds legal role.
- Significant experience in investment funds (UCITS / AIFs) and their service providers.
- Strong knowledge of the laws and regulations impacting investment funds (UCITS / AIFs) and their service providers.
- Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously in a dynamic business and regulatory environment.
- Good knowledge of computerbased tools (Word / Excel / Outlook / Power Point).
- Fluent in English and Italian, with other language such as German, French or Spanish.
