Denodo Engineer

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Denodo Engineer to join our dynamic team.

• You collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and data integration needs.
• You design data virtualization solutions that meet business objectives and data governance standards.
• You configure and deploy data virtualization software and infrastructure components.
• You develop data integration workflows, data access layers, and virtual views to provide unified access to distributed data sources.
• You optimize the performance and scalability of data virtualization solutions through tuning and optimization techniques.
• You integrate disparate data sources, including databases, data warehouses, cloud services, and APIs, into a unified virtual layer.
• You enable self-service data access by providing tools and interfaces for querying and accessing virtualized data.
• You monitor the health and performance of data virtualization infrastructure and services.
• You take care of the troubleshoot and resolving issues related to data integration, performance bottlenecks, and data access.
• You implement data governance policies and controls to ensure data quality, consistency, and security.
• You perform regular maintenance tasks such as software upgrades, patches, and backups.

• You hold a Master's degree and have at least 7 years of relevant experience as Denodo Engineer
• You can speak and write fluently in English
• You have good experience with implementing and managing data virtualization solutions in enterprise environments.
• You are proficient in data virtualization tools such as Denodo, Cisco Data Virtualization, or Red Hat JBoss Data Virtualization, being Denodo a plus compared to the others.
• You have a strong understanding of database management systems (DBMS) and data warehousing concepts.
• You have experience with SQL and other query languages.
• You are familiar with data modeling and metadata management.
• You have an understanding of data security and compliance regulations.
• You have good knowledge with implementing and managing data virtualization solutions in enterprise environments.
• You can troubleshoot and resolve data integration issues.
• You have experience with performance tuning and scalability of data virtualization platforms.
• You are familiar with cloud platforms and technologies (e.g., AWS, Azure).
• You have experience with data profiling and data quality assessment.
