How will you contribute?:

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the synthesis and crosslinking of polymer precursors using advanced chemistries.
  • Conduct thorough molecular, thermal/mechanical, and rheological characterization of materials.
  • Develop and optimize sustainable polymer formulations for advanced manufacturing processes.
  • Produce sufficient quantities of materials (kg scale) for testing and demonstrator development.
  • Participate in regular meetings and effectively communicate findings both orally and in written form.
  • Take a leading role in the protection and dissemination of research outcomes.
  • Collaborate constructively with a diverse team of colleagues, contributing to the group's and institution's success in an applied industrial context.
  • Stay updated with advancements in sustainable polymer technologies and integrate new findings into ongoing projects.
  • Participate in writing and leading sections of research project proposals.
  • You hold a PhD degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Polymer Science, or a related field, and are eager to conduct impactful, highquality experimental research in collaboration with a diverse group of colleagues.
  • You thrive on learning new things, using your creativity to solve problems, and seizing opportunities to enhance your skills.
  • You are proficient in English, both written and oral (minimum certified B2 level), and are adept at documenting your work meticulously.
  • You are careful, conscientious, and wellorganized in the lab, enjoy working with others, and are motivated to make a meaningful impact through your work.
