Located at the border between Luxembourg and Belgium, our client, an international company, is currently looking to recruit the following profile:
Accountant (M/F)
The accounting team, based in the Group's corporate office in Luxembourg, is in charge of the accounting and reporting for the holding companies of the Group.
The team is looking for an Accountant to participate in the accounting, reporting and financial controlling (including preparation of documents linked to audit or tax requirements) of said companies.

Responsibilities:
- Support daily accounting from A to Z for a portfolio of several entities, ensuring consistency with the Luxembourg and the Group Chart of Accounts and rules and appropriate supporting documentation
- Carry out accurate and timely reporting, on a monthly basis
- Conduct intercompany reconciliation on a monthly basis, follow up overdues and answer business questions
- Support with dealing with intercompany loans and related topics
- Conduct balance sheet reconciliations and follow up on intraLuxembourg transactions
- Ensure accurate and timely local and legal reporting on a monthly, quarterly or adhoc basis
- Manager master data (new suppliers or customers, payment conditions, bank details update, new interco' entities, etc) in liaison with the Support Service Centres and maintain the company's electronic corporate data platform for signed legal documentation
- Provide help on statutory annual financial statements, including notes to the accounts
- Deal with ad hoc requests from the Group Accounting and Controlling team
- Deal with ad hoc requests from other company's functions
- Conduct regular inventories (various kind of intercompanies agreements, physical assets) and reconciliations with the accounting records
- Help to define and implement enhancements to the accounting/finance processes and procedures
- Take on new entities and projects
Profil recherché:
Profile
- Degree educated in Finance or Accounting
- Minimum of 3 years of relevant working experience in a similar position, ideally in an international environment
- Fluency in French and English is required
- Detailoriented, organized, rigorous
- Team player and proactive
- Excellent presentation and professional approach
- PC Literate
