SOLDERING EXPERT (F/M/X)

You can look forward to these exciting tasks:

Optimize performance of soldered joints (reliability, troubleshooting, productivity) leveraging from the substrate, connector, processes, equipment, training of production & process teams
Propose, develop, and participate in implementing the design of silver tracks, connectors, of soldering process for new products according to customer requirements, possibly using simulation tools, mainly through participation in design reviews for new projects, but also as continuous improvement along the life cycle of the products
Together with Supply Chain, Process, and Quality teams, participate in the evaluation of (new) connector suppliers, define requirements and validation protocols
Propose and/or develop new ideas upon opportunities with/from process, Manufacturing Technologies, Advanced Product Development, and Program Management teams

Here's what you can bring to the team:

Successfully completed studies/master's degree in Engineering, Material Science, or Physics
First experiences in soldering within a development or production environment, preferably in the Glass or Ceramics industry
Selfstarter, bias to take ownership of projects assigned
A positive cando attitude
Handson expertise with regard to the fine craftsmanship of prototype samples that will be presented to the customer
