Treasury Analyst

As a Treasury Analyst with Convera based in our Luxembourg office, you will be responsible for daily cash management funding operations for Convera across the EMEA region as well as well as managing Bank Network initiatives.
You will be responsible for ensuring accounts are properly funded to cover client, counterparty, regulatory, and all other payments with a focus on using funds efficiently.
You will work closely with internal departments such as Trading, Operations, and Finance as well as Convera's external banking partners to resolve issues daily.
You will be responsible for:
Cash Management
- Monitor and forecast liquidity position for bank accounts that support Convera's EMEA region on multiple platforms to meet funding needs
- Direct the funding of bank accounts through wire transfers requests and requesting foreign exchange swaps to be executed by the FX Treasury Trading team
- Focus on optimizing bank account balances to meet payment needs and to use balances efficiently
- Partner with internal departments such as Operations, Finance, and Trading to resolve funding and payment issues that occur
- Work with external banking partners to resolve issues related to the operations of bank accounts
- Work on special projects and efforts to improve working capital as directed
- Strengthen and maintain bank and service provider relationships to support Convera's business requirements and network expansion strategies.
- Partner with the Convera's Network Development Team to build a bestinclass network that effectively supports the business' commercial strategies
- Act as primary point of contact for communication with counterparties, and provide a point of escalation for all internal stakeholders regarding operational issues needing resolution
- Facilitate regular meetings with internal stakeholders, banks and service providers to review existing service performance and costs, and new product offerings/requirements and opportunities
- Champion banking operations services internally providing education and insights to the wider business on the network and its operational and product impact
- Provide knowledge and support to sales & product teams regarding bank network and capabilities
- Identify and drive continuous improvements that enhances endtoend business processes
- Previous experience of working in a financial services operations' role = Key
- Experience with foreign exchange transactions and international payments would be preferred
- A University Degree (or similar) would be an advantage
- Ability to work accurately under tight time deadlines
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to learn quickly
- Strong problemsolving skills
- Intermediate Microsoft Excel skills
- Experience with Bank Platforms and Treasury Management Systems is a plus
