Compliance Intern-M/F

(Compliance and Regulatory Department)

_ Job purpose:
_


Within the Compliance team of Bank of China in Luxembourg you will have the opportunity to be trained on the activity handled by Compliance Officers.

You will support and work with the Compliance officers of the Bank's European cross border entities in relation to Compliance matters such as Compliance reports and adherence to Compliance regulations

_ Responsibilities would be, but not be limited to, the following:_

  • Assists to maintain an effective communication with Head Office of Bank of China Limited and ensures that Head Office reports are sent on a timely manner.
  • Assists in the preparation of reports and relevant procedures as necessary.
  • Assists in project management with regards to the implementation of new regulations and rules.
  • Carries out adhoc Compliance controls and checks according to the requirements.
  • Perform any other tasks as directed by Compliance team

Qualifications
**_

Profile (Technical Skills):_**- Bachelor degree in Law, Finance, Banking or Business related studies.

  • Has knowledge on the major regulations impacting the banking sector.
  • Proficient skills in word and excel
  • Professional experience in banking sector is a plus.
  • Excellent Chinese language skills and fluent in English (read, write and speak)
