Team/Function Overview
The Luxembourg TA AML Operations team is part of Citi's dynamic and growing Global Transfer Agency community servicing prominent institutional clients, fund and asset managers.
The team is primarily responsible for investor account opening and maintenance while ensuring compliance with the AML/CTF laws, regulations, and industry standards.
Role / Position Overview
Reporting to Head of TA AML Operations, your role is to manage the day-to-day operations and client service delivery focused on AML initial and/or ongoing investor due diligence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensuring that resources are allocated, accounts are opened and maintained in accordance with established SLAs, policies, and procedures.
- Ensuring that risks are identified and managed effectively.
- Reviewing and approving escalations, liaising with fund MLROs and senior management in complex and highrisk cases
- Maintaining excellent working relationships with clients and internal, external stakeholders
- Preparing, coordinating, and delivering presentations, client meetings, duediligence visits and audits
- Staying up to date with latest laws, regulations industry standards technology and best practices
- Reviewing and updating, processes, policies and procedures to ensure the highest standards of compliance and operational efficiency
- Contributing to the development of systems and participate in wider projects at local and global level.

Knowledge/Experience:
- Excellent knowledge of Luxembourg's AML framework and regulatory environment as well as international standards.
- Demonstrated experience in leading people in a fast
- Good understanding of Luxembourg's fund industry, and in particular transfer agency.
- Experience in interacting with executive level stakeholders' senior management and clients.
Skills:
- Excellent organization and control skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent time management, problem solving and analysis skills
- Attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
- Highly PC literate with excellent IT skills (e.g. Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook, other)
Qualifications:
- Relevant third level education or equivalent professional experience
- AML, compliance or legal training or qualification
- People management, leadership training

- Ability to manage time and resources effectively in a pressurized environment.
