Credit Market Products Department - Securitisation Division at its headquarters in
Luxembourg, a (Senior) Securitisation Manager
.
This is a generic campaign in the view of both current and possible future vacancies.

Responsibilities:
At a level commensurate with your experience and seniority, you will
- Independently originate and structure securitization transactions in line with the EIB Group's risk appetite and policy objectives
- Lead the credit analysis and investment suitability of securitisation transactions (cash and synthetic) from the initial negotiation with the client to the closing stages
- Carry out a thorough technical analysis covering qualitative and quantitative elements, in order to complete a risk/return assessment
- Ensure thorough data analysis and efficient monitoring of the portfolio and, on a dealbydeal basis, manage contacts with financial institutions and ensure commercial follow up of counterparties and existing commitments
- Review transaction documentation and contribute to the transaction negotiations
- Produce due diligence reports, recommendations and approval requests in English
- Lead, manage and motivate junior members of the team to allow them to achieve their full potential
- Actively represent EIF in the wider structured finance community and actively monitor market developments in the SME financing area.
_ Qualifications:
_
- At least 5 years of postgraduation (after having obtained your initial university diploma) relevant professional experience at the same level of responsibility in a financial institution or a rating agency.
- Prior experience in cash flow modelling and financial modeling, legal documentation work, rating agency interaction, is a prerequisite;
- Excellent understanding of the economic drivers of securitization / structured finance transactions, preferably in the SME asset class;
- Prior exposure to other asset classes (e.g. RMBS, consumers, auto, leveraged loans, funds of funds) and/or structuring securitization for regulatory capital relief;
- Good understanding of EIF's mission and activities and operating framework;
- Fluency in written and oral English. Knowledge of other EU languages would be an advantage.
