FUND AUDIT & FINANCIAL REPORTING OFFICER


Lemanik Asset Management (LAM) is a leading third-party Management Company with both AIFM and UCITS license with offices in Luxembourg, Ireland, Switzerland, Italy, and Hong Kong. LAM is totally independent from any bank and has a full license for all types of asset classes. Today, LAM serves more than 100+ clients and more than 30 billion euros of assets under management. LAM is connected to more than 30 custodian banks and fund administrators.


To support its Fund Audit and Financial Reporting Services team, LAM is seeking a motivated and dedicated Fund Audit and Financial Reporting officer (f/m).


Responsibilities:


  • Lead, coordinate and develop the audit process for all Funds under management, demonstrating the ability to effectively liaise with auditors, schedule meetings, and ensure timely completion of audit-related tasks.
  • Develop and maintain productive working relationships with auditors, clients, and other third parties involved in the audit process, showcasing excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Plan, coordinate and review annual and semi-annual reports prepared under Luxembourg Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (Lux GAAP) and International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS), ensuring accuracy, compliance, and adherence to reporting standards.
  • Demonstrate a thorough understanding of complex accounting and auditing concepts specific to investment funds, staying updated with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
  • Lead, coordinate and perform the Self-Assessment Questionnaire (SAQ) for clients, the Separate Report (SR) for auditors, collecting necessary information and documentation to ensure comprehensive and accurate reporting.
  • Collaborate effectively with internal departments to facilitate a smooth audit request process, demonstrating the ability to gather required information, resolve queries, and ensure timely completion of tasks.
  • Perform reports to the Head of the department on the activities
  • Good knowledge of regulatory changes


Candidate Profile:


  • Educational background: at least Bachelor or University Degree in Economics, in Finance or in Business Administration with main emphasis in Audit Accounting.
  • Experience: At least 2/3 year of experience in the Audit or Fund Accounting or similar position
  • Interpersonal and communication skills: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to effectively interact with internal teams, auditors, clients, and internal stakeholders. Strong attention to detail and ability to convey information accurately.
  • Language proficiency: Fluent in both English and French to effectively communicate with clients and stakeholders in Luxembourg's multilingual environment, German/Italian would be an asset.
  • Technical skills: Proficient in MS Office applications, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint. Ability to work with spreadsheets, prepare presentations, and maintain accurate documentation.
  • Organizational skills: Highly organized and flexible in managing multiple tasks and priorities. Strong time management skills to meet deadlines and handle shifting project requirements.
  • Team player: Able to work collaboratively in a collegial and friendly environment. Willingness to share knowledge with peers and contribute to the team's overall success.
