Deliver Finance, Risks & Compliance projects in both Agile and Waterfall approach, ensuring that the business needs are justified (strategically aligned and positive business case), that the solution delivered meets the project's objectives and is effectively and efficiently deployed within the bank to allow the realization of the expected project benefits respecting the allocated budget.

Play the lead role in structuring, planning, executing, monitoring, controlling and closing projects.


Your next challenge:

  • Drive the analysis of business ideas by challenging them in light of their strategic alignment and business case

  • Lead studies to prepare an adequate project implementation

  • Manage the successful delivery of the entire project - in close collaboration with the sponsor, business and IT representatives - to time, budget, scope & quality and in accordance with BIL's project management methods, processes and policies
  • Project structuration/coordination/monitoring: define & set up project approach (analysis, change management, test); Budget & business case; planning definition & monitoring; Stakeholders management
  • Manage and mitigate dependencies, issues and risks related projects and initiatives

  • Proactively take decisions or seek approval to ensure the project/release stays on track

  • Provide direction and support to cross functional teams; provide guidance, training and direction to achieve projects' goals

  • Define, coordinate and ensure implementation of the required communication and change management plan to ensure that the project's deliverables are integrated smoothly in the existing environment and that the business benefits of the project are achieved

  • Constantly monitor and report on project/release progress/KPIs to the relevant stakeholders and governance body/ies

Your skills:

  • 5 to 10y of experience in banking industry as project manager or in position offering transversal knowledge of banking regulatory topics (Finance, Risk, Compliance, Audit…). Experience with Regulatory projects (e.g Basel, BCBS239, AnaCredit, etc.) is an asset
  • Master in Economy, Finance or Business Administration or equivalent

  • Written and verbal communication in French and English. Fluency in another European language will be considered as an advantage
  • Broad knowledge of the banking sector and/or an in-depth knowledge of one of its regulatory domains (Finance, Risk, Compliance, …)

  • Experience with implementaing business projects (Retail, Corporate, Wealth Management) will be considered as an asset
  • Proficient with MS Office tools (MS Excel, MS Access, MS Powerpoint). Experience with Clarity™ or any another Project & Portfolio Management tool

  • Project or Program management certification (PMI, Prince2, MSP) and/or Change Management (e.g. PROSCI) and/or demonstrable expertise in one of the following disciplines Waterfall/Agile/ SAFe/etc., is a plus

  • Strong organizational and time management skills: proficient in structuring, planning, monitoring of projects and taking the required actions to remediate deviation (problem solving)
  • Proven regulatory delivery focus (trusted partners). Ability to comprehend, analyze and interpret complex regulatory documents
  • Ability to work well under pressure with a proactive approach including managing multiple deadlines and changing project scope
  • Ability to quickly analyze business practices to identify risks, inefficiencies, and opportunities and develop innovative solutions.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to engage with across all levels of seniority and functions with confidence, and to develop effective partnerships with key business partners.
  • Ability to influence and negotiate effectively with key stakeholders to take desired actions.
  • Providing clear and audience aware communications and progress reporting for various Governance bodies and other stakeholders within the bank for informed decisions and governance.
