    Job Description

    As Experienced Accountant, your key responsibilities will include :

  • Book day-to-day activities (accounts payables, receivables, cash receipts) and complex transactions
  • Work on complex accounting topics, such as intercompany reconciliation
  • Prepare direct and indirect tax returns and reconciliations
  • Support the business with finance-related matters
  • Maintain the general ledger in compliance with LUX GAAP and company policies
  • Ensure vendor invoices and check requests are paid according to authorization policies
Participate in month-end and year-end closing activities and assist with statutory auditsCompile sales tax/use tax information and prepare VAT returnsGenerate balance sheet reconciliations for financial statement accuracyPrepare fixed asset tracking and monthly depreciationDevelop procedures to improve workflow efficiency and internal controlsSupport the annual financial statements preparation and external audit processCollaborate with the Share Service Center for project work and implement processes in Luxembourg

The Successful Applicant

The successful Experienced Accountant that we are looking for has the following profile :

Bachelor's degree in AccountingMinimum of 5 years' experience in general accountingExperience in a commercial or professional services company Excellent knowledge of VAT and taxes in LuxembourgProficiency in Excel; experience with SAP and data analytics tools (e.g., PowerBI) is a plusStrong communication skills in French and EnglishEffective time management skills and high accuracyMethodical, mature disposition, stress-resistantProactive, hands-on team player willing to assist others
