(Junior) Engineer, DevOps

ROLE DESCRIPTION:
We are looking for a DevOps Engineer to join our team in Luxembourg

With this role, you will join the Ground Management Systems team, whose mission is to build and manage a global gateway system for SES. Your key missions as the DevOps Engineer are to develop and maintain solutions to automate the deployment of our software in both Azure and on-premises servers iterating with the software engineers to improve the development and deployment speed in strong coordination with infrastructure engineering.

Are you up for the challenge?

You will be responsible for (this is not an exhaustive list):

• Implement and maintain the CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps to deploy into our Azure Kubernetes Cluster
• Implement and maintain Ansible scripts for deploying our software on premise gateways and Terraform scripts for our infrastructure-as-a-code in Microsoft Azure
• Devise and implement improvements for a more streamline deployment process for our Golang codebase
• Create tools and utilities for a better codebase management
• Manage integration of new software into SES environment in close collaboration with Information Technology teams
• Optimize cloud and on-premise deployment projects for resource efficiency and operational reliability

YOUR PROFILE

1. Must have 

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Software Engineering
• Minimum 2 years' of relevant work experience (a combination of education and experience will be considered)
• Technical understanding of the SDLC and supporting automation solutions
• Experience with Microsoft Azure; DevOps, or any other cloud service
• Strong foundations in the following technologies:
  • Ansible and/or Terraform
  • Version control systems
  • SecDevOps
  • Kubernetes and Docker

2.    Nice to Have

• Ability to quickly change context
• Knowledge in the following technologies:
  • HAProxy and KeepaliveD
  • Scripting with Bash or Python
  • Cloud security best practices, such as Key Vaults, WAF, V-nets
  • Unix OS
  • TCP/IP networks
