A life assurance specialist with 30 years’ experience, we offer cross-border financial planning, asset management and wealth management services to Ultra High Net Worth, High Net Worth, and High Affluent clients across Europe and beyond.
OneLife is looking for a Compliance Officer to reinforce its team spirit and goal oriented Compliance team lead by the Chief Compliance Officer.
Main objectives of the role
As Compliance officer, you are in charge of:
- implementing the AML/CFT, fraud prevention, conflict of interest avoidance policies and procedures within the company;
- being one of the compliance contact persons for a client service team conducting a thorough client review process;
- carryoing out higher risk clients due diligence as second line of defense, and verifying their compliance,
- advising your colleagues about financial crime prevention and implement adequate controls
- performing second level controls on AML/KYC client files
- organising and/or participating in the awareness-raising of the personnel and our partners;
And more generally, you participate in:
- the development of the anti-money laundering framework regarding new regulation and risk exposure;
- company projects that have an impact on AML/CTF or more broadly on compliance topics;
- regulatory monitoring on these subjects;
- regulatory reporting

Profile of our future teammate
- Experience and knowledges of regulation in AML/CTF-KYC matters and especially in financial crime
- Good knowledge of the Luxembourg regulatory environment
- At least 3 to 5 years experience in the finance industry, experience in life insurance industry is an asset
- Working methodology and excellent organisational skills
- Solution and service oriented
- Attention for the details (in searching and writing) but also capability to summarize situations or cases
- Intellectual curiosity
- Efficient and goal-oriented communication (in writing and speaking)
- Team player with excellent interpersonal skills
- A mature person capable of working independently and able to demonstrate a high level of initiative and decision making
- French and English (fluent) is mandatory. Additional languages would be an advantage (Dutch)
- Knowledge of financial crime and tax compliance
- A professional certification in compliance or being in the process of obtaining such certification is an additional advantage.
